As I have been exploring different sites and articles for my classes this fall I have run across several interesting readings I thought I would share!

• Five Ways Video Conferencing is Bringing Exciting Collaborative Interaction to Teaching and Learning -Describes some great ideas for using videoconferencing in your classroom and collaborating on a global scale!
• Four Ways Collaborative Workspace Drives Innovation– Some ideas from some successful businesses to think about as you create spaces for students (and teachers!) to gather, share, and work together.
• Tales from a Loud Librarian: New School Year Begins with a Focus on Collaboration – A great post on how one school librarian promotes collaboration and how even sometimes we have to educate our colleagues.
• Remake Your Classroom Part 1: Planning for a Collaborative Learning Environment – This is Part 1 of what will be a three part video series from Edutopia that follows teacher at a middle school in San Francisco as he transforms his crowded classroom space to enable deeper learning.
• Collaborative Librarianship News – A great resource for articles from professional literature on various topics dealing with various types of library collaboration. Two that caught my eye were Ideas for Collaboration Between Public Libraries and K-12 Schools and Collaboration Between School Librarians and STEM Teachers.
